Ocean Agriculture (Pty) Ltd, founded in 1969, is a market leader in South Africa in the field of speciality plant nutrition products.

The Services of Ocean include:
- The production and distribution of a complete range of plant nutrients, foliar feeds, micronutrients, growing media, crop protection products and biostimulants.
- Advisory services, through diverse experience, quality and skills to the agricultural (advisory services to farmers), turf (landscaping and recreational) and retail (gardening) markets.
- Research and Development facilities that develop products and technologies appropriately adapted to local needs and conditions. This includes nutrition, crop protection and biotechnology.
Bionamix
Since 1999 BIONAMIX has established itself as South Africa's leading organic-based plant nutrition specialist.
Organic-based, or organo-mineral fertilizers, developed out of the need to utilize organic waste streams (manures) for more sustainable crop production. These wastes are sourced, analysed and scientifically enriched with fertilizers to create soil-specific products. The Bionamix Terramax product range thus ensures a balanced supply of nutrients and improved physical and biological soil conditions.
Since becoming part of the Ocean Group of Companies in 2006, the Bionamix management team played an important role in steering Ocean's technical and marketing direction towards its holistic goal.
Biocircle
Compost forms an integral part of Ocean's Bio-sensitive approach to plant nutrition. Apart from the various functions in the soil associated with organic matter, the production of compost is also an efficient way to recycle organic waste.
Using the Forced Areation Static Pile method of compost production, Biocircle produced its first compost in 1999. Since then the production and product range has grown considerably. The current compost production is 4000 m3 / month and other products include lawn dressing, potting soil and growing media.
In line with Ocean's philosophy of sustainability, Biocircle became part of Ocean Agriculture in 2006. Within the Ocean Group, Biocircle is responsible for all composting and recycling activities and research.
Ed's Garden Health
Ed's Garden Health is the latest division added to the Ocean Group.
Ed's Garden Health targets the home gardener, offering new technology garden solutions in the form of:

Ed's Garden Health aims to simplify garden care and offers convenient, single dose sachets, which require minimal handling.
